    Aaron plays with SingleCell at Harper's Grove - Tuesday, June 15th, 7-8:30pm. SingleCell is an instrumental trio in the Twin Cities that plays improvised pieces with elements of jazz, third stream, avant garde, and experimental music. Near the corner of Etna & Reaney in East St. Paul. Close to Johnson Parkway & Minnehaha. Low key, and exciting at the same time. Look for the little white dog, Victor in a big yard with some fruit trees. He will greet you. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket (but we do have some seating).

These are outdoor yard concerts in East St. Paul in a beautiful grove of trees. Near the intersection of Reaney and Etna - 2 blocks east of Johnson and one block north of Minnehaha. Sunday, May 30th, 2-4pm. Bring: masks, lawn chairs / blankets, donations for musicians (but all are welcome).

    Todd Harper with Aaron Kerr. These musicians will perform “Bird Myths”. Ornithology is a great science. But perhaps they missed some things? Todd Harper (dreamer, electric piano, small instruments, voice). The essential Aaron Kerr, cello, rooted energy. To be performed on the back porch, with perhaps the door open. This Pandemic Cabaret is part of a many part series called Looking Back, Moving Forward: A Retrospective Cabaret. In each show in this series Patrick will present one work from his past, while sharing the program with artists who have been part of his life and work in the last 50 years. The artists in each program have a special connection to that show's retrospective piece.     Aaron performs with Swallows for their upcoming release, In the Shadow of the Seven Stars, a thematic album based on the murder of Frances Coles by her her supposed killer: Jack the Ripper. From the Swallows web site: "In the Shadow of the Seven Stars takes its name from a public house in London called 'The Crown and Seven Stars,' which was located on Royal Mint Street in the Whitechapel District of London in 1891. The Seven Stars story begins with the murder of a 26-year-old prostitute named Frances Coles on Friday, February 13, 1891 by a killer that many believed to be Jack the Ripper. The band’s fictional story introduces a witness to the murder who is subsequently haunted by Frances’ ghost, who is desperately seeking an accomplice to revenge her murder."     Singer/songwriters Tyson Allison (Milwaukee) and J.Briozo (Minneapolis) will be teaming up for an afternoon of songs and stories with an in-store performance at Longshot Vinyl in Racine, WI from 1PM-3PM. Come grab a beer and check out the vinyl! Tyson Allison is the frontman for Milwaukee indie rock band Layers&Layers and will be joined by special guest Aaron Kerr on cello. Tyson and Aaron will be playing an acoustic set of original music.     The Sonoglyph Music and Poetry Collective performs at the Greenway Glow - a nighttime celebration of Minneapolis' amazing biking thoroughfare through the heart of Minneapolis. Sonoglyph is performing from 7-9pm, location TBA (somewhere on the Greenway - many artists will be there!). All ages - the event runs from 6pm-midnight.
